Dump your BMW Nav and then order this unit. It is excellent: simple install; intuitive interface; and, clean design. Very nice product.
The Sun Shade installed easily and it's great for reducing glare.

I purchased this product to safely transport and store my device when it’s not in use on the motorcycle. I had waited approximately three weeks for it to be shipped along with my device order. Upon initial inspection after receiving the product, I thought I wouldn’t regret purchasing it. It seemed to be a high-quality and functional item.
However, after some time, I purchased the “Sun Shade for AIO-5 Series” accessory and attached it to my “AIO-5 Play for BMW” device. That’s when I realized I could no longer use the bag.
The "Sun Shade" is not an accessory that can be easily attached and detached from the AIO-5 Play repeatedly. There is a risk of it breaking, and if your device has a “Screen Protector” installed, frequent removal and reattachment could eventually damage it.
I hope Chigee addresses this design issue and offers a new bag with dimensions suitable for carrying devices with the "Sun Shade" attached. When that happens, I’ll be among the first to purchase it.
On the whole it is a nice step up from Navigator VI on my 2017 GSA with analog guages.
Positives: The various interfaces/dashboards are nice and show a good bit of information. To my eye it looks every bit as nice and informative as TFT. Switching between them is easy with the wonder wheel, which didn't require any special setup.
I have a Pixel phone, so Android auto functionality is good, but needs better support (more below). It does seamlessly pick up my phone when I turn it on and is fairly easy to navigate with the wonder wheel.
It seems well made and designed to fit right in with the bike.
Negative: really the biggest and only negative is the lack of support for Google Assistant. This is a huge one for me and really deserves more than one star deduction. I was really searching for a product that would allow me to interface with Android Auto through my Cardo Freecom 4x so I could input destinations or change music by speaking to it rather than having to mess around with my hands while riding. I really hope that Chigee engineers can get this figured out. I am currently on the beta release of the Chigee firmware and the issue remains. If I say "hey Google" into the helmet it does seem to pick it up; however the issue is that it doesn't capture any voice after that. It's like it is using the wrong microphone or something.
Overall a great device but could be made even better by fixing the issues with google Assistant recognition

The Garmin Navigator has been so out of touch for so long. I'm a tech guy and it's the least intuitive piece of GPS tech I've ever used so it's great to see someone challenging the status quo. Finally, a fully integrated Apple CarPlay unit for BMW's. Does exactly what it says on the tin and is therefore exactly what I was after. I never wanted comms in my helmet, but this unit has changed my mind because it's an eco-system I now fully understand. My only criticisms are the way some of the apps behave via CarPlay but that has
nothing to do with the Aio5 unit, I'll take it up with the app makers. Excellent product, thank you.
I saw the A1O lite reviewed on Youtube, I finally got one after researching it. I also purchased the TPMS valve caps. This device is so awesome and fits the bike so good. For the Softail FXLRS/T you will have to get creative with the wire routing. The hardest part was accessing the battery for the bike. Once that was taken care of, I routed the power wire under the tank cover. You won’t even need to take off the Gas tank. Connecting the yellow wire took a bit of cutting and some jerry rigging because the wiring was all hidden so well by the factory. I took it out for a ride and I was really happy with it. It loads wireless Carplay so fast! Its so responsive and every button is easy to access. Make sure you get the correct SD card because you can’t update it without that. AIO lite really made my bike way better! I still haven’t hooked the cameras up. I have to plan the wire routing for that too. Definitely worth every penny! Get one! Or two!

Per il resto è bellissimo, ha la giusta dimensione (avevo un carpuride 702bmw ed era troppo grande al punto da nascondere parte del tft), ottima fattura. Ottimi gli schermi BMW. Ha aggiunto tutto quello che mancava al TFT
Le produit s’est connecté tout de suite à ma moto. L’utilisation de la wonderwheel bmw fonctionne très bien. J’ai payé 22€ de taxe d’import en plus du prix du produit.
Accessorio davvero molto utile , in quanto non avendo il tft , ho sotto controllo tutti i parametri della moto , oltre ad avere la navigazione con una vista ottimale

Please make sure to have CarPlay in there!!! :-) Blind Spot Detection is great (and arguably would make much sense with the back camera) but CarPlay is way more of an important feature for the upcoming XR-3.
I like the storage protective case! Compact, and almost fits anywhere. No complaints and a must if your storing your unit if not attached to your bike. Comes with a small screw driver which I like.
I reached out to chigee about various tweaks and revisions required on this item. We had a review of this and the carpuride 702b .. both have good and bad points. I feel the chigee unit falls down with the lack of "hey Google" support as this is one of the main features of a hands free experience. Hopefully it is resolved soon.

Llevo usando el producto durante 6 meses y no he tenido ningún problema.
El dispositivo si esta conectado a la bateria de la moto funciona como una alarma, cuando la moto esta apagada y tocas el dispositivo empieza a pitar.
Cuando enciendes la moto el dispositivo se enciende, para ello hay que tener conectado el cable amarillo en la luz de la moto y directamente sincroniza con el telefono, a veces no lo hace, pero tardas 10 segundos en sacar el telefono ir a bluetooth y seleccionar chigee y empareja muy rapido.
La pantalla es brutal se ve muy bien y el tactil es perfecto, ademas los de chigee me incluyeron el protector de cristal templado que se pone superbien, evita que se raye y se ensucia muy poco.
Todo lo que es android Car funciona perfecto, el unico problema que NO es culpa de la gente de chegee es la relacion [intercom sena - con el telefono] en modo android car. Sucede que si salta un WhatsApp lo puedes escuchar pero no puedes responder, es algun problema que hay con el intercom.
Decir tambien que cuando lo compré a finales de junio tube algun problemilla con aduanas, pero es normal aqui en España, todo lo que no sea chino comprado por AliExpress te lo paran y toca pagar la parte del iva.... tener eso en cuenta. Recalcar que la gente de chegee se portaron muy bien con dicho problema, me ofrecieron un cheque amazon que al final rechazé, y en general fue genial la comunicacion con ese problema de aduanas.
Sin duda, es quizá uno de los mejores android car que puedes comprar para la moto, opino que en persona queda mucho mejor que en las fotos y es muy practico encender la moto a la vez que arranca waze, mas practico que tener tu móvil. Vivo en una ciudad importante y de momento no han intentado robar, la pantallita ya que es discreta, sin logos y pasa desapercibida, parece como si fuera de la propia moto y si la tocan salta la alarma.
