Durante a instalação, basta ligar o CGRC CAN a uma de duas interfaces de módulo: a porta de 4 pinos para o módulo RDC, que trata da monitorização da pressão dos pneus, ou a porta de 8 pinos para o módulo DWA, que é o sistema de alarme antirroubo da Motocicleta. Embora os nossos guias online recomendem determinadas aquisições, estas são apenas sugestões para referência. Se, ao inspecionar a sua BMW, achar que um módulo DWA ou RDC permitiria uma instalação mais fácil, sinta-se à vontade para comprar os conectores de pinos adequados com base na instalação específica da sua Motocicleta.

※Nota importante para a série RT/K com instrumentos mecânicos (série K1600 2011-2021 / R1250 RT 2020 / R1200 RT 2016-2017): O controlo simultâneo ocorre apenas na interface de definições secundárias da BMW. Se esta limitação for aceitável para si, o CGRC CAN é uma opção adequada. Caso contrário, recomendamos que escolha o CGRC PRO Remote para uma experiência mais suave.

I like it!

I replaced my Garmin VI with the 5. I'm able to do more and get more with this system than I ever got from my Garmin. Great looking screen. I do need to practice with it more because I tend to hit my wheel by accident causing a menu to open.

Great piece of kit!

I am a total novice when it comes to ripping apart a bike to install anything and usually let my local shop do the work. In this case I decided to try it myself. Took some time and a bunch of you tube videos to dismantle a few things, but in the end everything worked out. I have a 19 1250GS, and I ported over my old Nav 5. The Garmin did the job, but it was slow, and felt outdated. I purchased the Chigee for the Apple car play and wanted to use google maps, and Apple maps. Did not really care about the camera features, but after install, I am really happy that I now have front and rear camera recording. The car play features work seamlessly. I also installed the control mod for the wonder wheel, and it works well to control the entire setup. Its been over a year since I installed, and I wanted to wait to write my review in case the setup fell apart. Happy to report, it just works. Much much better than the old Nav setup. All the wires are hidden, and looks like a part of the bike. Wish I had also purchased the PSI mods for the tyres, but I will grab those another time. Great product. Take your time doing the install, and you wont regret your purchase.

Almost perfect, but not “The Solution” yet.

The CGRC CAN for the BMW 1600GT (build 2020) is not yet fully developed for older types of the 1600GT. I recommend Chigee (AIO-5 for BMW) to work together with BMW (software development) on the improvement of use of the “wonderwheel”. For instance: In order to scroll-down in the menu of the Chigee the wonderwheel must scroll-up. Further more: When the wonderwheel is used to scroll down or up, the onboard radio volume is also influenced by the wheel producing less or more sound on the onboard speakers or speakers in the helmet. In order to covert these inconveniences I recommend to improve the Chigee -software in cooperation with BMW. It is also a matter of safety to limit distraction using the wonderwheel with Chigee while riding. It should function more logical and less distractive. I really think the Chigee is on its way to “make life a ride” and not to end it through distraction.
