The Chigee AIO-5 Lite Gives Any Bike a Connected TFT
The Chigee AIO-5 Lite allows riders to give almost any motorcycle a high-tech and slick-looking Bluetooth TFT dash

It’s hard to imagine a bike without a TFT in 2024, as almost every new model (scooters aside) comes with some form of TFT dash and or a level of Bluetooth connectivity.
There are though some bikes that missed out on the TFT revolution, and it’s these bikes that the Chigee AIO-5 Lite is aimed at. Take for instance an MT-09 from 2017, it’s a high-performance middleweight naked that even today punches well above its weight. It is though fitted with a conventional LCD dash and doesn’t offer any connectivity.
For some that may not be an issue, although for others they may want to look to something like the AIO-5 to help unlock some extra features from the machine, like on-screen navigation, controlling music and much more.

What does the Chigee AIO-5 do?
The AIO-5 Lite costs £454 and looks like a conventional sat-nav. Once fitted to your bike, though, it will unlock a host of features normally found on top-spec adventure and touring motorcycles. It’s a decent size screen at 5 inches and included in the box you get the mounting system, some cable ties to keep the wires tidy and some other accessories like sticky pads for mounting the auxiliary parts.
What arrives with the system
As standard the AIO-5 Lite system (which we have on test and will be reviewing soon) includes Apple Carplay and Android Auto, this allows the screen to mirror your phone making features like navigation much easier to use as well as allowing you to control music and answer or decline calls. It can also display things like your speed, a compass showing your direction, and, when used with the provided camera system, you can enable blind spot detection - normally a feature reserved for only the most premium adventure and touring motorcycles.
The remote control fits to the handle bar and requires no wiring in
The AIO-5 Lite system we have is also bolstered by some optional elements, in the form of a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS - £72) and a wireless remote control (£75) that mounts on the bike’s handlebar and allows you to control the system without removing your hand from the controls of the machine.

In June this year, Chigee introduced a dedicated feature to the AIO-5 Lite making it compatible with BMW bikes. Called AIO-5 Play for BMW, it allows the system to be adjusted via the Wonder Wheel and relays bike information back to the rider along with all the other functions mentioned above. Chigee claims the system is compatible with ‘most BMW models’ but it’s best to double-check with them before you make a purchase.

We’ll be fitting the Chigee AIO-5 Lite and the included accessories to an older bike model in the coming weeks and testing it to see how it performs. If you want to find out how we got on we’ll update this page once it has been tested.
