Understanding Wonderwheel Control Logic

※During setup, all you need to do is plug the CGRC CAN into one of two module interfaces: either the 4-pin port for the RDC module, which handles tire pressure monitoring, or the 8-pin port for the DWA module, which is the bike's anti-theft alarm system. While our online guides recommend certain purchases, they are suggestions for reference only. If upon inspecting your BMW, you find that a DWA or RDC module would allow for easier installation, feel free to purchase the appropriate pin connectors based on your specific bike's fitment.

※Important Notice for RT/K Series with Mechanical Instruments(2011-2021 K1600 series / 2020 R1250 RT / 2016-2017 R1200 RT): Simultaneous control occurs only in the Secondary Settings Interface of the BMW. If this limitation is acceptable to you, the CGRC CAN is a suitable option. If not, we recommend choosing the CGRC PRO Remote for a smoother experience.

※Important Notice for RT/K Series with TFT Instruments(2021-2023 R1250 RT / 2022-2023 K1600 models / 2022-2023 K1600B): Simultaneous control occurs across all interfaces of the BMW instrument cluster and CHIGEE Display. disappointing

Did buy this to add control of my Chigee screen by the BMW wonder wheel. Yes It goes left and right and if you select the four way it goes up and down. The main problem is about that it doesn't cancel the control of the BMW display at the same time when it's in CarPlay mode. So you're playing with your chigee and it messed up your BMW screen. For example, in four way mode, when you go up to with the wonder wheel to move on your Chigee, it controls the sound volume at the same time with the BMW main screen. So, you end up using 2 way mode (left and right) to lower that effect and then... use the touch screen of the Chigee as before. In that case, you are better using the touch screen to control the Chigee and don't buy this unuseful feature because you will find yourself to remove it.

Unbelievable that everything that I ordered other than the AIO-6 itself came in a plastic bag,
Every box was crushed luckily nothing appears to be broken, but I won’t know until it’s installed.
You really expect your items to come intact undamaged they cheap out by shipping in plastic bags beware!

The user's manual ain't not really detailled about installation but the cgrc works very well. Nevertheless when you Scroll in the menu you have to quit carplay /Android otherwise you set your bmw menu and your chigee simultaneously

Would give 5 stars but…

I would give this a 5 star rating but even without a shipping cost, the price is already steep just for a screen protector/anti-glare.
The protector doesn’t have instructions for installation although it is pretty easy to figure out. It doesn’t have a guide to align it to the screen of the Chigee. For the price you pay it should at least have an alignment tool so you don’t have to go back and forward trying to get it aligned to the screen, which could cause you to break the glass before it is set on the screen. I understand that this product is very unique and not a lot of people buy it which drives prices up. But that is exactly the reason why not a lot of people buy(expensive).
The Chigee:
For me it works but it is definitely not perfect. I have to deal with the wonder wheel interacting with the Chigee while I am trying to do other stuff on the bike’s menu. Works ok on the Chigee when I am trying to do things using the wonder wheel but it is not easy either. Nevertheless, the product works better than the regular GPS unit from the bike, so I do like it. If the interactive part between the wonder wheel and the Chigee and regular menu worked better I would definitely give this 5 stars also. But as far as the screen protector/anti-glare goes I am stretching it with 4 stars just because the seller worked with me. That product should be already included with the price of the Chigee in my opinion. At $500 that unit(Chigee) is pretty expensive. I understand it is made specifically for my bike mount also so I can’t complain much.
I do appreciate the fact that customer service works. I was able to talk to them via email pretty efficiently and they do help you.
Overall I think 4 stars are more than appropriate as a true rating after using the unit for weeks.
Just know that I still like having it and being able to use CarPlay.

It works, but there is a little issue because it works with the TFT screen at the same time.

For example, when you turn the wonder wheel up, your volume turns on max; the opposite side mutes the sound.

So, we must be patient to use this module.

Keine Simvolle Funktion

Dieses Modul ist für mich nicht sinnvoll. Alles was es tut ist das man mit dem Wonderwheel von BMW die einzelnen Bedienungselemente auf dem Screen anwählen kann. Um zum Beispiel während der Fahrt den Kartenausschnitt der Navigation zu zoomen muß man erst den Plusbutten anwählen und dann kann man die karte Vergrößern. Normalerweise sollte beim drehen des Wonderwheels die Karte vergrößert oder verkleinert werden. Diese Funktion ist so nicht nutzbar. Auch unterscheidet der Adapter nicht ob die Funktion des Drehrades auf den Normalen TFT der BMW oder auf das Chigee eingestellt ist. Wann immer man das Drehrad nutz um zum Beispiel Statistiken im Bordcomputer zurück zu setzten wird auch im Chigee der Bildschirm bedient und man muß hinterher alles wieder neu einstellen. Das ist nicht durchdacht. Nehmt euch ein Beispiel am Android Adapter von DMD2. da Funktioniert es intuitiv wie man es erwartet.

As for zooming in on the navigation map, please note that the +/- buttons are controlled by CarPlay, not our product. Therefore, you will need to use the cursor to move to the desired location on the map in order to zoom in or out.
