Using BMW Wonderwheel to Control Chigee Display

You can operate the Chigee Display through the BMW Wonderwheel.

If your Chigee Display is installed in the BMW navigation cradle or connected via CGRC LIN, you need to set the focus mode to NAV.

If you are using the CGRC CAN module, switching to NAV mode is not required. The Wonderwheel will directly control the Chigee Display.

① Press the MENU button and switch the control panel mode to “NAV” (not “TFT”).

TFT Mode: Controls the BMW factory TFT system.

NAV Mode: Controls the Chigee Display.

② Use the actions shown as “A” (toggle) and “B” (press/confirm) to control the Chigee Display (refer to this if vertical scrolling is disabled).

Note: When vertical scrolling is enabled, you can operate the Chigee Display by moving the Wonderwheel up and down. Vertical scrolling can be enabled or disabled in the Remote Controller Settings menu.

  • WonderWheel long push left or right: Switch between display pages.

  • WonderWheel short push left: Switch between front and rear camera views.

    WonderWheel short push right: Take a photo.

  • Short press button: Lock the current video.

  • Vertical scrolling: Enabled

    WonderWheel vertical scroll: Move the cursor to select an app.

    WonderWheel short push left: Go back to the previous menu.

    WonderWheel short push right: Confirm selection.

  • Vertical scrolling: Disabled

    WonderWheel short push Left/Right: Move the cursor to select an app.

    WonderWheel push Right: Answer a call.

    WonderWheel push Left: Hang up a call.

  • Short press button: Confirm selection.

Note: In the Chigee Display Home and Settings pages, vertical scrolling (up and down) is not available.
