The AIO 6 build quality is certainly second to none and the screen quality is one of the best if not the best going around.
The AIO 6 was easy to set up with motorrad app, headset and phone connections.
In operation the cameras give a good quality picture with the lane warning system very good if maybe a bit sensitive—I may need to look deeper in settings to see if it can be adjusted.
The remote control is not intuitive with its current 3 button set up and the way it moves through the screens. In time may be easier but out of the box not so much.
The viewable area of the screen is poor for what you are paying. Split screen is effectively 2x2inch squares, not readable unless the device is on your bars near your face.
The obd2 is useless for non bmw supported bike connections of the AIO6. It needs reconfiguring in the AIO6 to read more data. The price is crazy for what it does.
Overall personally it is a miss value wise for me. To expensive for the lack of features for non supported bikes either BMW or others.
I’ll always pay more for build quality which the chigee 6 has, but a lack of features for the non supported bmw cradle bikes means 6 doesn’t meet the cost.
Hopefully some software updates will allow better bike communication for the non cradle supported bikes.
BUT….. if it had a larger viewable display area and better data support for non bmw cradle bike like my gtl1600, I’ll be back.
This mount is perfect.
I recently received my AIO-6 LTE and have been on many motorcycle rides with it already. I knew early on, however, that I was going to want to use this device on my car so I bought this mount.
Well, this mount is amazing. Not only does it come with what feels like 6 meters of cable (USB-C), but it's made of mostly metal components. It feels durable, is super-easy to position, and will mount to any part of my windshield with zero effort.
That leads me to the suction cup. The cup plus actuator is probably the best I've ever used for anything ever. I can attach this to aluminum, glass, smooth (-enough) plastic, and it's going to hold solidly. When I'm tired of where it's at, I just slide the actuator to "off" and with a gentle tug of the little release flap, the whole mount pops right off.
Finally, as expected, the AIO-6 clicks on just like it clicks on to the quick release on my motorcycle. There is no play and no concern about it falling out. I set it and forget it. Even my wife has used it from occasionally.
Highly recommended! Would buy another one if I needed it and yes, I recommend this to everybody who is even considering using this in another vehicle.
Very happy with my purchase. Installation is extremely easy and the unit works perfectly. Touch screen works great with gloves and is very fast to respond. I bought this primarily to add CarPlay but the native features and GPS tracking is very convenient.
The AIO6 silicone frame is well built however it is not compatible with the silicone cover (which you l already used to satisfaction on my previous AIO 5 Lite). It doesn’t really serve a purpose. The AIO 6 will fit with it on in the carry case though.
Unfortunately It’s pointless fitting the cameras as yet as the two part order, has sent out the cameras but the rest of the kit I am awaiting delivery, and could be another 4/6 weeks apparently.
So can’t give a full and proper update. 🤷♂️
