Motorcycle Compatibility

The CG OBD module is designed for motorcycles based on their OBD protocol and connector type, not specific models.

Due to the wide variety of OBD interfaces and protocols across different motorcycle brands and model years, it is extremely complex to provide a detailed compatibility list for every manufacturer. These differences are often inconsistent, making universal compatibility difficult to guarantee.

1. Direct Compatibility

If your motorcycle uses the ISO 15765-4 CAN (Controller Area Network) OBD protocol and has a Euro 5 (6-pin) OBD connector, the CG OBD Module will work directly without the need for an adapter.
Simply connect the module, and you're ready to go.

2. Supported Brands and Models

If your motorcycle is not listed below, we cannot guarantee compatibility.
Purchasing for unsupported models is at your own discretion, with the understanding that incompatibility is possible.

Compatible Models (Verify Production Year Before Purchase)

Models Produced from 2019 onwards: Suzuki, Harley-Davidson, Triumph, CF Moto, KTM, Ducati, Indian, Husqvarna, Aprilia (excluding joint venture brands such as Indian Suzuki).
Models produced from 2022 onwards: Benelli
Models produced from 2024 onwards: Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda Wing, Honda Dreamwing (excluding joint venture brands such as Sundiro Honda and Wuyang Honda).

3. Compatibility with Other Connectors

If your motorcycle uses the ISO 15765-4 CAN protocol but a different OBD connector, the CG OBD module can still be used with an adapter. Please confirm the OBD connector type with the customer service team (refer to the product here for details).

The available engine data may vary depending on the motorcycle's brand and model. The data accessible through the CG OBD module depends on the manufacturer's openness and is not a product defect.

• Compatibility Requirements

Please verify whether your motorcycle has an OBD port compatible with CG OBD. If required, purchase the appropriate diagnostic-to-OBD adapter cable.

• BMW Motorcycles

BMW does not support the OBD module. We recommend using the CGRC LIN module instead for optimal performance.

Installation Instructions

Locate the motorcycle's OBD port (usually near the motorcycle's battery).
Connect the CG OBD module to the included cable.
Plug the module directly into the motorcycle's OBD port.
Securely attach the OBD module to a stable position using adhesive.
Installation is complete.

System Pairing:
- Navigate to System Settings > Features > OBD on your device.
- Tap "Start Pairing."
Successful Pairing: Return to the home page and access “Meter”. Click on “OBD” in the bottom-left corner to enter the OBD-specific dashboard interface.

Perfect connection

Got it to read my 2025 Scout Bobber 1250 with the right harnesses, The new Scout has an 8pin OBD so you have to get 8 pin to 16pin adapter and then get the 16 pin connector hook up to the OBD Module. The ONLY downside is the AIO 6 isn’t customizable so it shows what is already preset which for me a lot of it is useless like lean, altitude and sunset time. I bought the AIO 6 for the CarPlay features adding the ODB is a nice touch but very limited in information transmission

OBD for my modified 2024 ZX4RR

I moved a Chigee AIO5Lite from a 2021 Thruxton over to my 2024 ZX4RR. I updated the firmware first thing and installed both cameras and the TPMS. Because the Kawasaki has a 6 pin connector for the odb, it was a good time to try it out. It shipped quickly and worked right out of the box, after pairing. I have a flashed ECU which didn't present any issues.

After a lot of research and review, stumbled upon this product for Chigee AIO 5 Play.

To begin with, I’m happy with the quality of the product and the integration with the display. I was exited to see all the stats displayed on the OBD view.

Pro : The readings are very detailed and also limited to what’s readable from the ECU.

Con : The device doesn’t read the stats consistently, I had few instances where the OBD reading was not responding, stuck at a particular speed which didn’t change for a while during my ride.

And few other instances where the stats were not very accurate and I notice a delay in reading the stats as well.

Overall, it’s great to start with - but also needs a bit of fine tuning and making it even more efficient with respect to the functionality.

Needs the 16pin adapter but works great on the Trident 660. Easy to install and connect to the main AIO console. Right now it just shows more stats fed thru obd2, hopefully Chigee will enhance further, maybe add features such as displaying current gear position, dispkaying and clearing error codes. Etc...

Amazingly quick delivery. This was really easy to install once u update to latest software - settings features obd pair. I am awaiting the Ducati specific cable so in the interim am using two cables to adapt to the Ducati 4pin port. It’s works straight out of box with a software upgrade and shows interesting data such as rev TPMs engine temp altitude trip miles voltage plus data I don’t understand ect map fa cylinder ftos. This is an example of how great CHIGEE are continually innovating providing software updates. Now awaiting second module for my bmw R9T

Ordered on Pre-order. At that time there was no compatibility list as show now. Without this most features I was interested in will not show. Hope they will come out with a newer version backward compatible for the KTM.

We are sorry that the OBD module is not compatible with your 2015 KTM 1290 Super Adventure, especially as the current compatibility information was not available when you placed your pre-order.

For KTM motorcycles, we generally recommend the OBD module for models from 2019 onward. The motorcycle must meet both of the following requirements:

Protocol: ISO 15765-4 (CAN)
Connector: Euro 5 six-pin connector

We understand your disappointment and appreciate your suggestion regarding a future version with backward compatibility. At present, however, we do not have a confirmed update or release plan for older KTM models.

Nice bit of kit!

Working great so far. Would be a super easy install on a direct Euro 5 connection, but in my case it was a bit of a faff getting it to work via the adapter cable. Only thing missing, which could be due to my particular application is the gear selection indicator, otherwise awesome to have all the bike's telemetry on the display.
