Is the CHIGEE AIO-6 the Future of Connected Motorcycling?

The technological advancement has grown exponentially across industries over the past few decades: our simple cellular phones have evolved into smartphones, and cars have become autonomous and connected.

Yet, motorcycles have lagged in this transformation. Most still rely on analog gauges, lack integrated safety cameras, or offer no in-built navigation. Recognizing this gap, Chigee stepped in, introducing smart riding displays that bring motorcycles into the modern era of connectivity, finally giving riders the real-time alerts and communication features that cars have had for years.

Now, Chigee’s All-in-One Riding lineup has expanded with the AIO-6, a device poised to define the future of connected motorcycling. Let’s explore how.

A Look at Chigee AIO-6 Series: Features and Innovations

Like the AIO-5, the AIO-6 is also a series of devices, but bigger, smarter, and safer than the previous generation. We have made major upgrades in hardware, connectivity, and safety. Moreover, you get better compatibility with other motorcycle add-ons, making everything feel like part of one seamless ecosystem.

Hardware

The biggest difference, hidden in the name, is the screen size. The AIO-6 introduces a 6-inch smart display that closely mimics the smartphone experience.

With the larger screen comes a completely redesigned UI, customized for bigger displays. It features a sleek layout that boosts both visibility and usability, crafted specifically with riders in mind.

We’ve also upgraded the screen to an IPX9K durability rating, the highest in the industry. It withstands high-pressure, high-temperature water jets and extreme conditions, far surpassing the standard IP68 protection.

The display itself has been improved dramatically. Brightness has doubled compared to the previous generation, now reaching up to 2000 nits. That means perfect visibility even under direct sunlight, made possible by dual-sided backlight technology. An ambient light sensor automatically adjusts brightness for optimal viewing at all times.

On the inside, the AIO-6 is powered by dual 64-bit Arm Cortex-A53 processors, paired with 4GB of RAM and reliable Kingston eMMC storage. This configuration ensures stable performance with multiple apps running at once.

Another standout hardware feature is the new quick-release mechanism. Chigee now offers smart quick-release kits for motorcycles, BMW models, and even cars. This makes it easy to detach the device after your ride, swap it between vehicles, and reduce the risk of theft in public areas.

Connectivity

The AIO-6 series comes in two variants: the standard AIO-6 MAX and the fully connected AIO-6 LTE, which includes built-in 4G capabilities.

Basic connectivity like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay comes standard on both models. But with integrated 4G in the LTE version, riders also get real-time tracking, keeping loved ones updated on their location. This connectivity also powers advanced safety features like crash alerts with SOS, geofencing, and more, all managed through the intuitive CHIGEE GO app.

We have also added robust trip logging features. It tracks ride time, speed, distance, and more, giving you deeper insights into every journey.

Safety

In terms of Safety, 4G addition has been a big move. With it, you can now track every move of your bike remotely. For example, if your bike is parked, you can monitor its real-time location. If any motion is detected, the system automatically captures the scene and sends you images or footage directly to your phone.

Custom geofences can also be set, alerting you if the bike moves beyond a defined zone. This can be quite useful for parents keeping an eye on younger riders.

Just like the previous model, features like Blind Spot Monitoring and TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) are still present. But now, we have added a more comprehensive SOS system developed in partnership with Bosch. This advanced emergency system can detect crashes and automatically notify pre-set emergency contacts, with a 95% detection accuracy based on lab tests.

Ecosystem

AIO-6 isn’t just a single device, it’s part of a broader ecosystem. This time, we are offering multiple add-ons: cameras, quick-release kits, remote controls, and anti-theft accessories.

Beyond Chigee’s in-house accessories, AIO-6 also integrates seamlessly with popular third-party devices. We have partnered with action camera brand Insta360, which enables full compatibility with Insta360 models (X4, ACE, ACE PRO2) and GoPro cameras (Hero 11 and above). You can now view its real-time footage directly on the AIO-6 screen and control the cameras – start/stop recording, or capture snapshots – without needing to touch the camera itself. You no longer need to film blindly via such helmet cams!

Why This Matters for Connected Motorcycling?

So, you have seen, AIO-6 isn’t another motorcycle accessory. It covers every aspect a rider cares about, from ergonomic design to seamless communication to advanced safety.

User-Centric Design

The reason Chigee chose to shift to a 6-inch display was user preference and suggestion. The larger screen offers a better view and feels like you’re navigating with your smartphone. Likewise, every other change, from smaller UI tweaks to the introduction of quick release kits, real-time tracking, and SOS, has been carefully added, keeping in view the valuable feedback of our community.

Versatility

The device has been made versatile for all vehicles, no ifs and buts. You can snap on quick-release kits to multiple bikes in your garage and even switch between them. The tech is now supported for cars, too.

Future Proofing

With its own 4G SIM, AIO-6 keeps you and your bike connected, alerted, and protected wherever you ride. And thanks to over-the-air updates, you can expect even bigger features and improvements down the road.

Verdict: Is this the Future?

The kind of smart tech that’s long been available for cars is finally here for motorcycles. For years, adventure riders have waited for a system that could communicate, record, and react in real time. AIO-6 brings all that, and more. It gives you control, safety, and seamless integration, right from your palm (smartphone).

Yes, this is the future. And it’s already here. Experience it for yourself – and change the way you ride.
