Is de AIO-5 Play BMW compatibel met mijn BMW?
De AIO-5 Play for BMW is speciaal ontworpen voor motorfietsen uitgerust met BMW's Nav Prep. Hij wordt rechtstreeks op het Nav Prep aangesloten en wordt gevoed door het elektrische systeem van je BMW.
Opmerking: de AIO-5 Play for BMW is alleen compatibel met Nav5/6 en biedt geen ondersteuning voor Nav4.

Kan ik dit toestel schakelen tussen meerdere BMW motorfietsen?
Ja, je kunt de AIO-5 Play for BMW snel wisselen tussen meerdere BMW motorfietsen, zolang elke Motorfiets compatibel is met het apparaat. Haal gewoon de stekker uit de ene motorfiets en sluit hem aan op een ander compatibel BMW.
Opmerking: De AIO-5 Play for BMW is speciaal ontworpen voor BMW. Hij is niet compatibel met motorfietsen die niet van BMW zijn.
Heeft de AIO-5 Play for BMW een batterij? Kan hij worden opgeladen?
De AIO-5 Play for BMW is ontworpen voor rechtstreekse installatie op het BMW navigatievoorbereidingssysteem (Nav Prep). Hij wordt rechtstreeks door het BMW Nav Prep gevoed, wat een naadloze integratie en consistente stroomtoevoer garandeert.
Daarom heeft de AIO-5 Play for BMW geen batterij en kan deze niet apart worden opgeladen.
Kan ik een camera toevoegen aan dit apparaat?
Extra camera's toevoegen aan de AIO-5 Play for BMW is niet mogelijk.
Dit is waarom: Vermogensbeperkingen: Bij aansluiting op het BMW Nav Prep wordt het toestel gevoed door de BMW cradle. Deze stroomvoorziening is voldoende voor het scherm, maar niet voor 2 extra camera's.
Beperkingen in het ontwerp: Het toevoegen van camera's zou extra kabels vereisen die van het beeldscherm naar de cameralocaties lopen. Dit zou ten koste gaan van het huidige quick-release ontwerp, een belangrijk kenmerk van ons product.
Kan ik de AIO-5 Play For BMW gebruiken met Garmin-houder?
De AIO-5 Play For BMW is volledig compatibel met de originele Garmin AMPS Rugged Mount, waardoor volledige functionaliteit gegarandeerd is. Steunen van derden ondersteunen mogelijk niet alle functies zonder overeen te stemmen met het originele interfaceprotocol van het navigatiesysteem van BMW.
Wordt er bij het opstarten automatisch verbinding gemaakt met CarPlay/AndroidAndroid Auto?
CHIGEE kan eerder verbonden mobiele apparaten onthouden. Zodra u uw telefoon voor de eerste keer hebt geactiveerd en verbonden, zal CHIGEE automatisch proberen te zoeken naar CarPlay of Android Auto van uw telefoon bij het opstarten (ervan uitgaande dat de Bluetooth & WIFI van uw telefoon is ingeschakeld).
Welke navigatie-app kan ik gebruiken?
We hebben de CHIGEE grondig getest met zowel de Google Play Store als de App Store, om compatibiliteit met de populairste en meest gebruikte navigatie-apps te garanderen. Ter bevestiging kunt u de lijst met de top tien geteste navigatie-apps op deze pagina bekijken.
CHIGEE werkt door mobiele apps te spiegelen via CarPlay of Android Auto. In theorie zou elke navigatiesoftware die CarPlay of Android Auto ondersteunt volledig compatibel moeten zijn met de CHIGEE.
Belangrijke opmerking - Android Auto spraakassistent
De stemassistent Android Auto kan niet worden geactiveerd via een Bluetooth-headset op het Chigee Display.

Ondersteunt het mijn Bluetooth headset?
CHIGEE maakt geen directe Bluetooth-verbinding met motorheadsetapparaten. In plaats daarvan koppelt de Bluetooth-headset eerst met uw smartphone. Je smartphone stuurt vervolgens de audio naar de CHIGEE. De CHIGEE is compatibel met alle Bluetooth-headsets, zolang de headset verbinding kan maken met uw smartphone. Houd er echter rekening mee dat de CHIGEE slechts de gelijktijdige verbinding van één headset tegelijk ondersteunt.
Waarom reageert het touchscreen niet als ik handschoenen draag?
Zorg ervoor dat je handschoenen geschikt zijn voor touchscreens. Wij raden handschoenen aan met rubberen vingertoppen of handschoenen die speciaal zijn ontworpen voor touchscreens. Stoffen handschoenen werken mogelijk niet betrouwbaar met het scherm.

Great edition to my 1250 GSA just locks into BMW nav prep, connect to wifi or mobile hot spot and activate then it performs software update then ready to go, carplay works really well and easy to use with wizz wheel very happy with this purchase.

The tech on my R1250 BMW is great, when it works. The navigation is sometimes not available while the music seems to work. After my Garmin crapped out on me I decided to try this. So far it is perfect, navigation and music with Apple Carplay just like in the car!

No brainer - really love this to replace my NAV V
After taking delivery of my new GSA1300 I wanted to replace my ageing NAV V and decided to look for alternative options. I really didn't get along with the BMW Connected Ride cradle (phone didn't sit well while in its case) - so that went on eBay and I found the AIO-5. Really nice to have Apple CarPlay, which seems to work even better than it does in my car (although some learning for me of how best to use the BMW Wonder Wheel. Anyway, the device came quickly, fits the standard mount perfectly and feels incredibly well put together. The price is right and overall I think this is a great option. I haven't looked into whether/how to put in my own routes - Garmin BaseCamp style - but am sure there are options/apps for that. I always found it painful on the NAV V anyways. Overall, I strongly recommend this.

Installed on my GS1250, plug and play replacing BMW Navigator V.
Bright screen, very good reactivity to touch, Apple Car Play working fine, splitscreen function, even too many display options on positive side.
Negative: very poor settings instructions, limited size (I didn't kow AOI-6 was near to launch), no volume adjustment with BMQ roller command

The 4.3" is a perfect size for a naked bike like my Monster, but those with large hands might want to upgrade to the larger size for easier button tapping.

As soon as it arrived I installed it on my Bike. Connected it to the existing Powerconnector for the Navigation system.
Works very well, liked it so much that I became an Super Early Bird user for the new 6 inch version. Can't wait for the new 6 inch version to arrive!
