This accessory (just like the screen protector) is almost mandatory. The sun shade keeps the sun's glare off the screen and makes it much easier to read & interact with the screen.

Works as advertised right out of the box. Set up was simple, and it pairs with my phone almost immediately after it powers up. Same CarPlay experience I have driving my truck, so there’s zero learning curve.

Another great product from Chigee, easy to fit, easy to connect to the AIO-5. Very accurate readings. All good.

The display is very small - due to very large black contour - that makes really hard do use the navigation app. Also the wonder wheel functions are quite limited and very counter intuitive. Overall a quite expensive product that offer an average experience.

I wasnt sure if i needed the sun shade but figured it wouldnt hurt to get it in the same order with the base unit. The shade snaps on solidly and is snug enough that i didnt detect any vibration or rattle while riding. It looks clean when installed.

Good build quality but poorly thought out functionally.
It has no battery or option for direct power connection, so you can’t use it unless it’s mounted on the motorcycle. That means updates and settings can only be done when it’s installed on the bike with the ignition on. Maybe I expected too much because of the marketing. The screen speed is nothing exceptional, and the scroll wheel responsiveness is neither intuitive nor fast. On the S1000XR 2018, the lean angle feature also doesn’t work. The display is too small and too dim when using Android Auto.

Works like a charm

I bought it for my 2023 R1250GSA to replace the Nav VI. The BMW TFT could do a lot more but falls short in interfacing with my phone. The android auto functionality of the Chigee is the perfect answer to what the BMW and Nav VI missed.

I wish that Chigee would allow the items displayed on the data page to be adjusted like the Nav VI allows. I like to display the trip information and consumption info and can do without the direction or elevation.

I originally gave it 4 stars for lack of ability to configure the data pages. But I upped it to 5 after I put it on my old 2016 R1200GSA. I had seen a review that showed the older analog gauges and just assumed it wouldnt work with the older model. But it powered up on the first try and almost everything is displayed. The only thing it is not reading is the tilt on the bike. For an older bike this is a great addition that modernized the bike and gave me android auto.

Overall it has the one thing i bought it for... Android auto... But I still think it has the potential for improvement by making the data pages configurable.

Also serving as a reverse charger, TR100 is a great value for money. It was easy to install. The shipping process could be a little faster but understandable since it is international shipping.

Avevo qualche dubbio visto che non era tra i modelli compatibili indicati sul sito ma funziona anche su Ninja 1000sx del 2023. Riporta le informazioni principali sul display del chigee. Sarebbe bello venisse implementato anche l'angolo di piega visto che è un dato visualizzato sul display originale e che fosse possibile imprimere i dati sui video registrati dal dispositivo.

I replaced my Garmin VI with the Chigee 5. It out performs the Garm in every way.

Loving this! I don’t have to worry about my phone camera shaking to death, keeping it safe in my pocket whilst staying connected.
Occasionally th screen will boot up like a new setup, but the next time you connect it is paired again, hope this can improve with an update.
Other than that its brilliant! Great visibility and works great with gloves on. Solid loon and feel.

I went with the XR-2 to save a little money and see how well it works and I’ve been very happy with it. Install was easy and it is a solid unit. I will likely move this one to my smaller bike and get a bigger one. I will definitely go with Chigee on my next one.

This is an excellent device and I use it on my BMW F750GS to replace the OEM one. My only suggestion was the lack of information on usage/button management. While the manual indicates how to plug in and connect it doesn't share information on how it's used and incorporated with your built in cpu button and features.
