XR-2 Motorcycle Smart Riding Dashcam

I was a bit skeptical of what Chigee device to choose, as I wanted to put it on my Honda Monkey 125 and I haven't managed to find anyone having it installed already. All devices in theory would fit, but I didn't want a large footprint of an AIO-5 or AIO-6 on my small bike, so I decided to get the XR-2 and boy I love it!!!
Installation was easy and after seeing many videos about it I installed it successfully without a single issue. Device works like a charm and it's fast in booting and changing modes.
I also got the screen protector (which fitted like a glove) and the extra remote control for ease-of-use while riding.
I'm very happy with my purchase and I'd suggest it for anyone that wants to buff it's bike with a Carplay/Android auto device that can also record the rides from start till finish.
My only wish would be for XR-2 being able to collaborate with the OBD module (like the AIO-5 and AIO-6 does). Please Chigee team, make it work for us as well \o/ <3

I went with the XR-2 to save a little money and see how well it works and I’ve been very happy with it. Install was easy and it is a solid unit. I will likely move this one to my smaller bike and get a bigger one. I will definitely go with Chigee on my next one.

I've owned by unit for about 6 months now and have no complaints. It always connects to my phone as soon as I start my bike, the cam footage is great quality, and the touch screen works wonderfully. The 4.3" is a perfect size for a naked bike like my Monster, but those with large hands might want to upgrade to the larger size for easier button tapping.

Love how fast the screen respond. No lagging. The most important thing is super friendly support team!

Chigee XR-2 installé sur CBR600, surtout pour la sécurité avec les Dashcam, pas forcément simple à mettre en place sur ce genre de machine. L’écran n’est pas très grand mais ça me va et sur une sportive compliqué de mettre plus grand. La qualité est, apparemment, bonne. La vidéo est plutôt pas mal, ça permet de voir ce qu’il y a derrière. L’AppleCar play est très pratique.
J’aurais vraiment apprécié que la boule livrée avec soit de 1’’ comme Ram mount, il faut encore payer une vingtaine d’euros pour ça.
Autre défaut c’est assez facilement volable. J’achèterai donc un bras Ram mount sécurisé.

I purchased this specifically because I wanted the smallest yet most functional navigation/dash cam device that wouldn’t ruin the look of the bike. I like the unit yet I have some criticisms. First, the cameras are not the same cameras as the AIO-5. They are of lower quality then the AIO-5 which is not very upfront with the advertising. The second issue is the device seems to freeze for about 10 seconds when adjusting things like the auto brightness in the menu. The freezing is kind of unacceptable as these units are not cheap and supposedly has the same CPU as the AIO-5. I will be making a YouTube video illustrating the freezing issue as none of the reviews I saw mentioned this, which is disappointing. The other complaint I have is there is absolutely no reason why they couldn’t put Blindspot detection on this device.

Lastly, I will say that Chigee’s customer service seems to be great. I had a problem with my product getting stolen off my porch and Chigee Handled the issue very fast, which I thank them for.
