CHIGEE Shipping Protection: Coverage, Claims & Required Evidence

CHIGEE Shipping Protection is provided directly by CHIGEE and covers eligible orders against loss, theft, or damage during transit.

Coverage begins once your order has shipped. After shipment, the Shipping Protection fee becomes non-refundable, even if the order is later refunded.

For an approved claim, you may choose:

  • A replacement shipment at no additional cost; or
  • A full refund of the covered merchandise amount.

The Shipping Protection fee is not included in the refund.

How to File a Claim

Contact help@chigeego.com and provide your order number, a brief description of the issue, and the relevant supporting evidence listed below.

Lost or Undelivered Package

You may be asked to provide:

  • Tracking information showing that the package was lost, returned, or not delivered;
  • A carrier inquiry, case number, or written confirmation from the carrier, when available.

If the carrier has officially marked the package as lost, additional evidence may not be required.

Package Marked as Delivered but Not Received

You may be asked to provide the tracking record and at least one of the following:

  • A police report;
  • Security camera footage;
  • A written statement or investigation result from the carrier;
  • Written confirmation from your building reception, property manager, leasing office, local postal authority, or another relevant authority.

Package Damaged During Transit

Please provide:

  • Clear photos of the outer shipping box, including the shipping label;
  • Clear photos of the internal and product packaging;
  • Clear photos showing the damaged product and affected areas;
  • A short video showing the damage or functional issue, if it cannot be clearly demonstrated in photos;

Please keep the damaged item and all original packaging until the claim has been reviewed. Seel’s published requirements similarly call for clear images of the carrier packaging, product packaging, and the damaged item.

CHIGEE may request additional information when necessary to verify the claim. Providing supporting documents does not automatically guarantee approval; each claim will be reviewed based on the tracking information, submitted evidence, and circumstances of the shipment.
